Key process features

Production combines advanced open-die forging with precise heat treatment to achieve optimal precipitation hardening in substantial sizes:

●Alloy Preparation: High-purity copper is alloyed with precise chromium and zirconium additions in controlled induction furnaces under protective atmosphere.
●Billet Casting: Semi-continuous casting produces large, dense billets with homogeneous composition and minimal segregation.
●Preheating & Forging: Billets are uniformly heated and forged under high-tonnage presses into near-net round plates, refining grain structure and achieving excellent density.
●Solution Heat Treatment: Plates are solution annealed at high temperature and rapidly quenched to create a supersaturated matrix.
●Precipitation Aging: Controlled low-temperature aging develops peak hardness, strength, and conductivity balance.
●Precision Machining: CNC milling and turning achieve exact diameter, thickness, and surface finish per customer drawings.
●Final Protection: Thorough cleaning and light oiling prevent oxidation during storage and global shipping.
