Key process features
Production relies on traditional yet tightly controlled casting methods to ensure reliable performance in oversized sections:
●Alloy Preparation: High-grade virgin ingots and returns are melted with precise tin additions to achieve the target composition.
●Melting & Degassing: Induction melting with fluxing and degassing removes impurities and gases for clean metal.
●Centrifugal or Static Casting: Large molds or centrifugal spinning produce dense bars with minimal shrinkage defects.
●Cooling Control: Gradual cooling minimizes internal stresses and promotes uniform microstructure.
●Heat Treatment: Optional stress-relief annealing improves machinability and stability.
●Rough Machining: Turning or peeling removes casting skin and establishes accurate diameters where required.
●Final Protection: Bars are cleaned, inspected, and coated with light oil to prevent surface degradation during storage and shipping.
