Our tin bronze copper sleeves are manufactured to provide reliable, long-lasting performance in demanding bearing and sliding applications where premature wear or seizure cannot be tolerated.
Key process features
Manufacturing uses advanced centrifugal casting and precision machining techniques to produce dense, defect-free sleeves with excellent microstructure:
●Alloy Melting: High-purity copper and tin are melted with controlled additions to achieve exact composition and optimal fluidity.
●Centrifugal Casting: Molten alloy is poured into rotating molds to produce dense, porosity-free tubular blanks with uniform wall thickness.
●Heat Treatment: Controlled annealing relieves internal stresses and refines grain structure for improved machinability and mechanical properties.
●Rough Machining: Turning and boring establish near-net dimensions.
●Finish Machining: Precision grinding and honing deliver exact ID/OD tolerances and surface finish (Ra 0.4–1.6 μm typical).
●Optional Features: Cutting of oil grooves, drilling of lubrication holes, or insertion of graphite plugs as specified.
●Final Inspection & Protection: 100% dimensional check, surface lightly oiled or wrapped to prevent oxidation during storage and shipping.
Quality control system

● Retained samples ≥3 years for independent verification (SGS, BV, TÜV, etc.)
● 100% inspection of critical parameters:
• Chemical composition (optical emission spectrometry)
• Mechanical properties (tensile ≥380 MPa, hardness HB 90–120 typical, compressive strength testing)
• Dimensional accuracy (micrometers, CMM, bore gauges)
• Surface finish and defect inspection (visual + dye penetrant)
• Internal soundness (ultrasonic testing on all cast blanks)
