Copper Grounding Busbar – Process & Quality Assurance Statement
Our copper grounding busbars are manufactured to provide safe, efficient earthing solutions with minimal resistance and maximum durability in critical electrical systems.
Key process features
Production emphasizes high-purity copper and precise fabrication for optimal performance:
●Material Selection: Only certified high-conductivity copper is used, with purity verified before processing.
●Hot Rolling: Ingots are rolled into flat bars, achieving uniform thickness and dense grain structure.
●Cold Finishing: Additional passes refine surface smoothness and final dimensions.
●Hole Drilling & Cutting: Precision CNC punching or drilling adds mounting holes; bars are cut to exact lengths with clean edges.
●Optional Tin Plating: Electroplating applies a uniform tin layer for superior oxidation and corrosion protection.
●Surface Cleaning: Thorough degreasing and inspection ensure clean, ready-to-install bars.
●Packaging: Bars are protected with interleaving paper and sturdy bundling to prevent damage during global shipping.
Quality control system
● Full traceability from raw copper lot to finished busbar
● Material test reports including conductivity and composition provided with every shipment
● Sample retention ≥3 years for third-party verification (SGS, BV, TÜV, etc.)
● 100% inspection of essential parameters:
• Chemical purity (optical emission spectrometry)
• Electrical conductivity (typically >100% IACS)
• Dimensional accuracy (micrometers and hole position gauges; typical tolerance ±0.5mm)
• Surface quality and plating thickness (where applicable; X-ray fluorescence)
• Mechanical strength (bend and tensile testing on samples)
● Internal standards exceed ASTM B187 requirements. Typical C11000 properties: Conductivity >101% IACS, Excellent flexibility without cracking, Proven long-term stability in grounding applications.
● ISO 9001:2015 certified production ensures every copper grounding busbar delivers the safety, efficiency, and reliability demanded by modern electrical installations.
