Premium Copper-Nickel Round Bar – Marine-Grade Seawater Resistance
Nickel Silver Rod (Cu-Ni-Zn Alloy)
Produced via horizontal continuous casting or semi-continuous casting process. Melting is carried out in medium-frequency induction furnaces under full argon or nitrogen protection to prevent oxidation and inclusions. Chemical composition is strictly controlled in accordance with GB/T 5231 or ASTM B151 standards, with nickel content precisely maintained between 9.0% and 30.0%. Main grades include C75200, C75400, C7521 (BZn18-18), C7701 (BZn15-20), C79400, etc.
Full-process quality control is implemented
● Raw materials: 100% incoming inspection of electrolytic copper, nickel plate, and No.1 zinc ingots using direct-reading spectrometer
● Melting & casting: Real-time hydrogen analysis and surface milling of semi-continuous ingots to eliminate segregation
● Extrusion & drawing: 100% eddy current testing + ultrasonic testing between each pass
● Final inspection: Complete test reports issued for each batch, including chemical composition (SPECTRO), tensile properties, microstructure, grain size, and salt-spray corrosion resistance
Product characteristics
● Diameter tolerance achievable within ±0.02 mm, straightness ≤0.3 mm/m
● Clean surface free of oxidation color, draw marks, or lamination; suitable for high-precision cold heading, deep drawing, and machining
● Excellent resistance to seawater corrosion, especially recommended for marine engineering, ship valves, heat exchanger components, and high-end hardware connectors
Supply range: Φ6.0 mm to Φ120 mm (round bars). Fixed-length cutting, centerless grinding, and chamfering available per customer drawings. Minimum order quantity: 50 kg per size. Standard sizes kept in stock over 200 tons for delivery within 48 hours.
