Our phosphor bronze bars are manufactured by horizontal continuous casting followed by multi-pass cold working and precision straightening process. This ensures fine grain structure, uniform microstructure, and elimination of typical casting defects such as porosity and inclusions.
Chemical composition is tightly controlled within GB/T 5231 or ASTM B139 specifications. Tin variation is kept within ±0.15%, phosphorus precisely maintained between 0.03-0.35% to achieve optimal combination of elasticity, fatigue resistance and avoidance of cold brittleness caused by excessive phosphorus.

● Total cold reduction ≥85% with multiple intermediate annealing cycles to fully release internal stress
● Final straightness ≤0.5 mm/m
● 100% eddy current testing + random ultrasonic inspection to guarantee freedom from internal micro-cracks
● Surface finish Ra ≤1.6 μm; bright annealing or anti-tarnish coating available upon request
