QAl9-4 Aluminium Bronze Copper Plate High-Strength Corrosion-Resistant Material for Industrial Fields Custom Cutting Available
Aluminum Bronze Plate – Technical Product Description (for Industrial Key Accounts)
Our aluminum bronze plates (C95400, C95500, C95800, etc.) are produced via continuous or semi-continuous casting followed by heavy forging. Single plate weight exceeds 15 tons, thickness range 8–400 mm, and width up to 2500 mm. This process delivers a fully dense structure with refined grain size and eliminates porosity, slag inclusions, and shrinkage defects typical of sand casting.
Key Process Controls
● Melting performed in coreless medium-frequency induction furnaces with protective flux and argon degassing, achieving chemical composition tolerance within ±0.05% and extremely low gas content (H < 0.5 ppm, O+N < 50 ppm).
● Casting under real-time temperature and flow field monitoring with precisely controlled cooling rates, ensuring consistent properties throughout the entire plate thickness.
● Multi-stage solution heat treatment + aging to optimize precipitation of Ni-Fe-Al strengthening phases, delivering the best combination of strength and toughness.
● 100 % ultrasonic testing on every plate in accordance with EN 12680-1 Class B or ASTM B594 Class A. Third-party inspection reports (Lloyd’s, DNV-GL, ABS, BV, etc.) available upon request.
Quality Assurance Highlights
● Full batch traceability with raw physicochemical records retained for minimum 10 years.
● Mechanical properties consistently exceed standard requirements by ≥20 % (e.g., typical values for C95500: UTS ≥ 758 MPa, YS ≥ 380 MPa, Elongation ≥ 15 %).
● Surface milled finish Ra ≤ 3.2 μm; plates can be used directly in final applications without additional customer machining.
We specialize in supplying mission-critical industries — marine propellers, large injection molds, offshore platform valve components, high-speed rail braking systems, and heavy-duty wear parts — with a “one plate, one solution” approach. No compromise, no “good enough” commodity material.
Suitable for clients who prioritize long-term reliability over initial cost.
