Our brass square bars are manufactured via horizontal continuous casting followed by multi-pass cold drawing and precision straightening, ensuring dense microstructure free from porosity and inclusions. Standard grades include H59, H62, H63, H65, C3604, etc. Custom compositions available upon request (GB, ASTM, EN or client-specific).

Key Process Features

● Melting: Medium-frequency induction furnace with flux covering and online degassing/refining; impurity level <30 ppm
● Horizontal continuous casting: Graphite die with optimized secondary cooling to eliminate center porosity and segregation
● Multi-pass cold drawing: Total reduction ≥65%, 15-25% per pass; intermediate annealing in continuous protective-atmosphere furnace
● Finishing: Six-roller + servo straightening (straightness ≤0.3 mm/m); bright polished or anti-tarnish protection available

Quality Control

● Full elemental analysis by direct-reading spectrometer for every heat; third-party reports (SGS/BV) available
● 100% eddy-current testing for internal defects per EN 1971 Class A or B
● Dimensional tolerances achievable to h9, h8 or h7; length tolerance ±0.5 mm per piece
● Twist ≤1°/m; parallelism of opposite sides ≤0.08 mm
● Low-lead or lead-free options (Pb ≤0.02%) compliant with RoHS, REACH and California Proposition 65
