Hexagonal Brass Bar – Technical Product Description
Manufactured from high-purity oxygen-free H59/H62/H65 Cu-Zn alloy, our hexagonal brass bars are produced via continuous hot extrusion followed by multiple cold-drawing or cold-rolling passes. This process ensures a dense, pore-free microstructure with no inclusions or slag.
Dimensional tolerances:
● Across-flat (A/F) tolerance: ±0.05 mm
● Angle tolerance: ≤ ±0.5°
● Straightness: ≤ 0.3 mm/m No visible twisting or bending along full length.
Production is fully compliant with IATF 16949. Every heat undergoes incoming spectral analysis. 100% eddy-current testing is performed post-extrusion to detect internal defects. During cold working, first-piece, in-process, and final-piece full dimensional inspections are mandatory. Finished bars are 100% visually inspected for surface defects and undergo fluorescent penetrant inspection when required.
All critical dimensions and test results are traceable to individual bar level via heat number and production records.
Widely used in high-precision CNC Swiss-type lathes, instrumentation, hydraulic/pneumatic fittings, lock components, and other applications demanding superior dimensional stability and machinability.
Standard size range: A/F S4–S60 mm. Lot sizes up to 50 MT+, with capability for scheduled JIT deliveries and buffer stock agreements.
