CuCrZr (C18150) Finished Components – Product Supplement

Our CuCrZr alloy is produced by vacuum melting combined with rapid solidification casting. Typical composition: Cr 0.6-1.2%, Zr 0.08-0.25%, total impurities <50 ppm. Ingots undergo multi-pass high-temperature solution treatment (950-980°C) followed by heavy hot forging/hot rolling (reduction ≥70%) and precision cold working, resulting in a fully recrystallized, segregation-free microstructure with grain size consistently above ASTM 10.
Age-hardening is performed using a proprietary two-stage process with precise temperature control (±2°C) in the 450-480°C range. This promotes nano-scale precipitation of Cr and Zr-rich phases (20-50 nm), achieving an optimal combination of:

● Electrical conductivity ≥80% IACS (typical 82-85% IACS)
● Tensile strength ≥550 MPa
● Yield strength ≥450 MPa
● Elongation ≥12%
● Softening temperature >550°C

Full-process quality control

● Raw material: 100% direct-reading spectrometry + ICP-MS full-element analysis
● Semi-finished: 100% ultrasonic flaw detection (FBH ≤Φ0.8 mm) + eddy-current conductivity sorting per batch
● Finished parts: 100% CMM dimensional inspection + 100% conductivity & hardness sampling + metallographic analysis on critical items
● EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2 certificates, SGS/RoHS/REACH reports available on request

Target applications (where long service life and reliability are critical)

● Resistance welding electrodes (automotive BIW, EV battery tab/pole welding)
● Continuous extrusion dies, die-casting mold inserts and cavities
● High-voltage connectors, conducting arms and busbars in new-energy systems
● Water-cooled components for nuclear fusion and high-energy physics facilities
● Hot-runner systems in high-end plastic injection molds

We focus on measurable performance and traceable data rather than marketing slogans. Technical and purchasing teams are welcome to conduct on-site process and quality audits at any time.
