Oxygen-Free Copper Busbar (T2 / C10100 / C11000) – Technical Supplement

Raw material: High-purity oxygen-free copper cathode with Cu ≥ 99.95%.

Smelting is performed via power-frequency + medium-frequency duplex process under full inert gas protection, achieving oxygen content ≤ 10 ppm (versus GB/T ≤ 20 ppm).

Continuous casting and rolling line adopts fully automated closed-loop control. High-precision graphite crystallizer combined with electromagnetic stirring results in fine equiaxed grains of 0.030-0.050 mm (ASTM E112), ensuring dense microstructure free of porosity and non-metallic inclusions.

Integrated hot-rolling, cold-rolling, stretch-bend leveling and finishing line. Single-pass reduction strictly controlled between 15-25%, total processing rate ≥ 95%, delivering consistent electrical conductivity of 100%-101.5% IACS (20°C) across the entire cross-section, with resistivity variation ≤ 0.0171 Ω·mm²/m.

Quality Control System

100% eddy current testing (defect equivalent ≤ FBH 0.8 mm)

Full chemical composition, hydrogen/oxygen analysis, metallographic examination, mechanical properties and conductivity testing for every heat

Dimensional tolerances meet premium grade of GB/T 5585.1-2018 (thickness ±0.03 mm, width ±0.10 mm)

Surface finish Ra ≤ 0.4 μm; optional deburring, chamfering, tin-plating or silver-plating available
