Copper Bar Wholesale Round/Hexagonal Copper Rods Price Per Ton China Red Copper Manufacturer/Supplier
1.Raw Material and Melting Only Grade-A electrolytic cathode copper (Cu ≥ 99.99%) meeting GB/T 467 is used. Melting is performed in dedicated 50–120 ton medium-frequency/power-frequency induction furnaces for oxygen-free copper with continuous carbon covering protection. Real-time online hydrogen/carbon monoxide analyzers are employed throughout the process, maintaining molten copper oxygen content stably ≤ 8 ppm and hydrogen ≤ 0.5 ppm, eliminating porosity and hydrogen embrittlement risks from the source.
2.Casting Process Vertical semi-continuous casting is adopted (one of the few domestic producers capable of stable casting of ingots ≥ Φ600 mm). Mold cooling intensity is sectional and adjustable; pulling is controlled by fully servo-driven multi-point synchronized systems with pull-stop-reverse programs accurate to 0.1 second. Single ingot length reaches up to 8 m and weight up to 18 tons. Surface is free of longitudinal cracks and cold shuts; internal quality consistently achieves ≥ 99.3% Class A acceptance under ultrasonic testing.
3.Extrusion Forming 8000–20,000 ton horizontal oil-hydraulic or water-hydraulic presses are used for single-fire extrusion (extrusion ratio 25–45). Extrusion container temperature is controlled within ±5 °C, dies preheated to 420–480 °C, and extrusion speed precisely adjustable between 0.8–3.5 m/min. First-pass yield remains stable above 92%. Maximum single bar length 12 m, straightness ≤ 1.5 mm/m. Single-fire extrusion completely eliminates coarse grain structure and mechanical property fluctuations associated with traditional multi-fire processes.
4.Heat Treatment and Finishing Continuous horizontal heat-treatment furnace with temperature uniformity ±3 °C and 60 m effective soaking zone ensures consistent microstructure and properties along the full bar length. Finishing lines are equipped with combined four-roll + six-roll straightening machines, achieving final straightness ≤ 0.5 mm/m. Skin turning is performed on heavy-duty CNC lathes, delivering surface roughness Ra ≤ 3.2 μm. Bright oxide-free surface can be provided on request.
5.Quality Control System
- 100% per-bar batch chemical composition analysis by direct-reading spectrometer (34 elements)
- 100% per-bar ultrasonic testing (conforming to SEP 1921 E/e or ASTM E428)
- Full mechanical properties, grain size, and eddy-current conductivity testing performed on head, middle, and tail sections of every bar
- Additional helical eddy-current testing on critical large-diameter bars to exclude surface and near-surface micro-cracks
- Full-process MES + ERP traceability system: raw material batch → ingot number → extrusion number → finished bar number, one-to-one correspondence, lifetime traceable

We do not use unverifiable claims such as “ultimate purity” or “world-leading.” We simply hand over the actual test data from every melt, every extrusion, and every single bar for your judgment.
You are welcome at any time to arrange factory acceptance visits, sample re-testing, or third-party supervision (SGS, PONY, Beijing General Research Institute of Nonferrous Metals, etc.) stationed at our plant.
— This is the most solid commitment we make to major clients.
If you need any technical parameter wording adjusted (more conservative or more aggressive), or wish to add specific certifications (AS9100, IATF16949, PED 2014/68/EU, etc.), please let me know and I will revise accordingly.
