Aluminum Bronze Round Bars – Professional Supplier for High-Performance Copper Alloys

We specialize in manufacturing aluminum bronze round bars in ASTM C95400, C95500, C95800 and other grades, as well as GB QAl9-4, QAl10-3-1.5, QAl10-4-4, etc. Single bar weight exceeds 2 tons, serving major clients in heavy machinery, offshore engineering, petrochemical, and high-end mold industries that require large-diameter, high-reliability materials.
Manufacturing Process Horizontal continuous casting combined with high-tonnage extrusion/forging process ensures dense internal structure without shrinkage porosity. Extrusion ratio ≥12:1, followed by three-roll planetary rolling and multi-pass drawing, achieving full-length grain size ≤0.025 mm (ASTM E112 fine grain level). Mechanical properties uniformity exceeds ASTM B150/B148 requirements by more than 20%. For critical large-diameter bars (≥Φ200 mm), 100% forging is applied to guarantee consistent core and surface properties.

Quality Control

● Raw materials: 100% A-grade electrolytic copper + high-purity master alloys, full elemental analysis (34 elements) by direct-reading spectrometer for every heat
● In-process control: German OBLF spectrometer, ultrasonic C-scan, and eddy current testing at casting, extrusion, and heat treatment stages
● Final inspection: Each bar is delivered with third-party test reports (SGS/BV/TÜV optional) covering chemical composition, microstructure, mechanical properties, ultrasonic testing (1.6 mm FBH), dimensional tolerances, and surface quality
● Guaranteed properties: Tensile strength ≥758 MPa (C95500 typical ≥830 MPa), yield strength ≥345 MPa, elongation ≥12%, Charpy impact at -40°C ≥27 J, seawater corrosion rate ≤0.05 mm/year

We do not engage in retail marketing. We supply only to engineering projects that require stable bulk volumes, long-term performance validation, and full traceability. Standard stock: Φ50–Φ500 mm; maximum single bar Φ650 × 3000 mm. Custom production available to AMS 4880, EN 1982, ABS, DNV, LR, and other classification society requirements.
