Copper Plate (6-100mm Thickness) – Product Technical Description
We specialize in manufacturing high-purity copper plates (T2/C11000/CW004A) in thicknesses from 6 mm to 100 mm, with maximum width of 1500 mm and single plate weight up to 8 tons, serving demanding applications in power distribution, heat dissipation, new energy and industrial busbar systems.
Key Manufacturing Process
● Raw material: High-purity cathode copper (Cu ≥ 99.95%)
● Semi-continuous casting → Hot rolling (starting temperature 850-900°C, finishing 600-650°C) → Double-face milling → Multi-pass cold rolling with intermediate annealing → Final bell-annealing under high-purity nitrogen atmosphere → Leveling → Inspection
● Hot-rolling oxide layer strictly limited to ≤ 0.15 mm; minimum 2.5 mm/face removed by milling to ensure complete elimination of surface and sub-surface defects
● Total cold reduction ≥ 75%; multiple intermediate and final anneals at 650-750°C resulting in fine equiaxed grain size of 0.035-0.060 mm for excellent ductility and softening resistance
● Flatness ≤ 2 mm/m; thickness tolerance consistently maintained at ±0.05 to ±0.15 mm (exceeding premium grade requirements of GB/T 2040-2017)
Quality Control Highlights
● 100 % traceability by heat number; full ERP + MES process management
● 100 % ultrasonic testing plate-by-plate in accordance with GB/T 5777 C10 or EN 14114 Class B (single defect ≤ Φ2 mm FBH)
● Electrical conductivity ≥ 58.0 MS/m (≥ 100 % IACS); oxygen content stably ≤ 10 ppm
● Surface condition: free of oil spots, roll marks and significant scratches; delivered with blue protective film on both sides or anti-oxidation oil coating
● Nine-point thickness, flatness and hardness measurement on every plate; third-party test reports (SGS, BV, AHK, etc.) available upon request
Suitable for high-current busbars, vacuum circuit breaker contacts, water-cooling plates, grounding systems and other critical applications where maximum conductivity, thermal performance and dimensional consistency are required.
